Water Well Management - Monitoring Water Levels, Usage, and Flow Meters with Industrial IoT Sensors, GSM Hubs, and Tools.Valarm.net
- How much water are you, your organization, or your clients using?
- What's the fluid and water levels in the distant reservoirs, tanks, and water wells?
- How fast are your fluids and water flowing? What are the gallons per minute rates on the remote flow meters?
- It's hard, but necessary to monitor water for effective water resources management
These are critical remote monitoring and Industrial IoT challenges that are solved by this Valarm Industrial IoT package! You can easily answer these with the hardware in this kit and Tools.Valarm.net. These kits include a year of Valarm Tools Cloud credits. Just send us a message at Info@Valarm.net with your account name and we'll credit your account on Tools.Valarm.net.

Do you, your teams, or your organization need remote water monitoring systems?
Please don't hesitate to contact us at Info@Valarm.net if you've got any questions.
This Industrial IoT kit has just what you need for telemetry to remotely monitor water levels, volumes, flowmeters, and depths.
All telemetry data is sent to Tools.Valarm.net using a Sensor Hub, which is a 3G GSM sensor hub in this kit. However, you can easily use this WiFi water monitoring kit, or an Ethernet sensor hub, or make your own custom water monitoring system kits by adding each item you need to your cart on Shop.Valarm.net.
Here's the list of items you get with this kit that will let you monitor your remote water assets in real-time with Tools.Valarm.net:
- GSM Sensor Hub for Industrial IoT
- Enclosure - snap-together box for GSM Sensor Hub
- 4-20 mA sensor adapter
- PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) sensor adapter
- 2x Enclosure for 4-20mA & PWM sensor adapters
- 2x USB OTG Micro B to Micro B Cable
- Micro USB to Full Size USB Cable
Note: You'll need to get a wall charger, lead acid or lithium ion battery, or another power source (e.g., solar power) to provide 5V power via Micro USB to your Sensor Hub. A standard phone or tablet charger works fine for setting this up.
Have a look at this write-up for details on how to wire up this water monitoring kit to add telemetry to your fluid or water assets.
For each water asset, e.g., water well, reservoir, pond, or tank, a 4-20mA sensor adapter connects to your pressure transducer / water depth level sensor. For example, a 4-20mA pressure transducer made by In-Situ or Flowline.
Please have a look at this write-up for details on how to wire up this kit to monitor your water.
Deploy the Valarm unit as is or put it in a box/housing of your choice. That's it! Easy enough?
The video above shows you how to integrate your Sensor Hub with Tools.Valarm.net to map, graph, analyze, download, and forward your sensor data in real-time.
Note that other sensor hubs, like Ethernet sensor hubs are available. One of those may be a better fit for your scenario, depending on what your easiest internet connectivity is at each of your deployment locations!
How does your organization use the information from these water monitoring systems?
Want to receive custom alerts, view water information on a web dashboard, improve your operations, and save time and money? Sounds like a lot I know, but we're here to help you do just that. Take a gander at Web Dashboards for remotely monitoring Industrial IoT sensors.
Please don't hesitate to contact us at Info@Valarm.net and we'll help you, your teams, and your organization deploy your most effective monitoring systems.
